Simplicity with superb execution - Pulaski's new Sauvignon collection was inspired by the causal, yet elegant, design elements of 19th century Country French furniture. In a collection where shape is everything and less is more, Pulaski shows off its mastery in the art of "intaglio" - a carving process that renders in relief - resulting in hand-carved furniture shaped with sculptural precision. The Sauvignon Dining Room Set by Pulaski features the quaint styles of 19th century Country French furniture. Each piece is adorned with hand carved designs and feature solid wood construction combined with pecan veneers and a warm wear resistant Sauvignon finish. The basic set includes the luxurious and extendable leg table as well as two upholstered arm chairs and four upholstered side chairs. The table features two included 18" leaves and extends up to 113" in width allowing more room for additional people around it. The set also allows two optional pieces. the first is a spacious and functional china cabinet that includes a build in wine glass rack, dovetailed drawers with drop in felt panels, adjustable glass and wooden shelves as well as beveled door glass. Built into the hutch is three-way touch lighting while the top drawers of the base are rated at 75lb. allowing them to safely store silverware in the included drop in felt holder. The other optional piece is a luxurious server or kitchen island. This piece features four finished sides allowing it to be used in the middle of an open space. The top of the server has three black granite inserts that can be used as cutting surfaces while the base contains three drawers (two of them pull through) with the middle one containing an adjustable shelf. In addition to this there are two towel racks and two wine racks in the base for maximum storage capability. The entire set also features cabriole carved feet as well as dust bottoms and antique brass finished hardware. An elegant and functional addition to any dining room or living space.
